When you use Qualica, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, company name, and role. When you upload CAD files, we process the geometry and metadata necessary to provide DFM analysis and procurement services.
We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns, to improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Providing and improving our DFM analysis and procurement services
- Processing your CAD files for manufacturability checks and cost estimation
- Communicating with you about your account, updates, and support
- Analyzing usage patterns to improve platform performance and features
- Ensuring security and preventing fraud
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, AI processing)
- Suppliers only when you explicitly initiate an RFQ or procurement action — and only the information necessary for that transaction
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, row-level security for data isolation between accounts, regular security audits, and access controls. Your CAD files and supplier data are never shared between accounts.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and download your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Export your data in a portable format
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
